Planning a trip to Taiwan for leisure or visiting family? Here's what you need:
- Online Visa Registration: Print out the filled Visa form and sign on it.
- Original Passport: With above six months validity. Please include any old passports if available.
- Salary Slip: Last 3 months' salary slips.
- IT Returns: Last 3 years' Income Tax Returns.
- Company ID Card Copy.
- Employment Letter: Should be on company letterhead, indicating company granting leave of absence, applicant’s designation, duration of employment, and must have the company official seal.
- Photographs: 2 passport size photos (white background, 60% to 80% face visibility, and without border).
- Covering Letter: Mentioning purpose of visit, designation of visitor, and the intended duration of stay.
- Tentative Taiwan Travel Itinerary.
- Confirmed Hotel Booking in Taiwan.
- Bank Letter from Bank Manager: Addressed to The Visa Officer, Taipei Economic & Cultural Center, Chennai. Stating that the applicant/company is maintaining an account with them and mentioning the bank balance details.
- For Other Jurisdiction Issued Passports: We need a Company letter with residential address and rental agreement or any other relevant proof.

Taiwan Business Visa Requirements
For your business engagements in Taiwan, here are the necessary documents:
- Online Visa Registration: Print out the filled Visa form and sign on it.
- Original Passport: With above six months validity. Please include any old passports if available.
- Photographs: 2 passport size photos (white background, 60% to 80% face visibility, and without border).
- Company ID Card Copy.
- Indian Company Cover Letter: Mentioning purpose of visit, designation of the visitor, and the intended duration and days of stay. If a multiple-entry visa is required, tentative traveling dates should be mentioned, and the letter should be introduced to 'Visa Officer, Taipei Economic and Cultural Center Chennai'.
- Taiwan’s Inviter’s Invitation: Stating the purpose and applicant’s name and other details.
- Company Registration Certificate or Import-Export License: Issued by the Indian Government.
- Company’s Income Tax Returns: Last 3 years.
- Personal Income Tax Returns: Last 3 years.
